  1. World Accreditation Day is annually observed on 9 June to promote the value of accreditation, a review process to determine if educational programs meet defined standards of quality. It is a global initiative established by International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) and International Accreditation Forum (IAF). The theme for World Accreditation Day 2023 is “Accreditation: Supporting the Future of Global Trade”.
  2. Sanjay Swarup will be the new Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Container Corporation of India (CONCOR), a PSU under the Ministry of Railways.
  3. Israel has carried out its initial tests flights of an autonomous aircraft that can carry passengers and heavy cargo, an air taxi, in a bid to ease traffic congestion on the roads.
